Journal ranked as Q1 in latest rankings<\/strong><\/p>\n The International Journal for Crime, Justice and Social Democracy<\/a> <\/span>has been ranked by Scopus as a Q1 (Quartile 1) for journal quality in the subject category, \u2018LAW\u2019 in the latest Scimago* rankings.<\/p>\n The Journal is the only Law journal in Australia with a Q1 status \u2013 and the only journal from the Global South in this quartile. QUT open access journals https:\/\/www.library.qut.edu.au\/about\/collections\/qutejournals\/<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n *The Scimago Journal and Country Rank is a publicly available portal that includes the journals and country scientific indicators developed from the information contained in the Scopus\u00ae<\/a><\/span> database (Elsevier B.V<\/a><\/span>.). Citation data is drawn from over 34,100 titles from more than 5,000 international publishers and country performance metrics from 239 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n Each subject category of journals is divided into four quartiles: Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4. \nInternationally, the Journal is ranked 10th in the top 100 open access Law journals, and 1st in the Pacific Region.
\nSupported by the Centre for Justice<\/a><\/span> in the Faculty of Law at QUT, Editors Kerry Carrington, John Scott and David Rodr\u00edguez Goyes wish to acknowledge the hard work of the reviewers, authors and the support of the International Editorial Board for the ongoing success of the Journal. As well, the Editors would like to recognise QUT Library and the Office for Scholarly Communications for their support and commitment to best practice in open access publishing.
