Goyes and journalist Nina Lakhani meet to discuss Lakhani\u2019s book<strong> \u2018Who killed Berta C\u00e1ceres\u2019,<\/strong> and so shed light on the work of and threats against environmental activists through the life of Berta C\u00e1ceres. Berta, in the words of Lakhani, \u2018would be mostly remembered as an environmentalist who defended rivers [but] she was much more than that.\u2019 Berta\u2019s murder in 2016 triggered international condemnation and inspired environmental activists throughout the world.<\/p>\n<p>Goyes and Lakhani will be joined by experts from across the world.
