The vast majority of workplaces in Australia have both survivors and perpetrators of violence in the workforce and have a critical role to play to enable change.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #333333\"><br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: #6d6e70\">UN Women National Committee Australia with the Diversity Practitioners Association and QUT Graduate School of Business invite you to explore the practical action businesses can take at the Workplace Responses to Domestic and Family Violence Symposium on Friday 12 May.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: #6d6e70\">The symposium is designed for\u00a0businesses wishing to learn from and lead organisational responses to domestic and family violence. The program will be practical, and will enable sharing of best practice domestic and family violence policy and responses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 12pt;text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: #6d6e70\">The day will include:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 12pt;text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: #6d6e70\">&#8211; A keynote from the perspective of Penelope Twemlow: CEO Energy Skills Queensland, 2016 Queensland Social Purpose Telstra Business Woman of the Year and domestic violence survivor<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 12pt;text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 9.0pt;font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: #6d6e70\">&#8211; Panel discussion with organisations and academics leading practice in this area led by Janelle Weissman Executive Director, UN Women National Committee Australia.
