They will present a range of individual and collaborative work.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Professor<a href=\"http:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/staff\/carringk\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Kerry Carrington<\/a> will present <em>Southern Criminology and Global Justice<\/em>, part of a collaborative project on <a href=\"http:\/\/bjc.oxfordjournals.org\/content\/early\/2015\/08\/20\/bjc.azv083.full.pdf?keytype=ref&amp;ijkey=1UbXBF4AdszQriq\" target=\"_blank\">Southern Criminology<\/a> with Professor <a href=\"http:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/staff\/hoggr\/\" target=\"_blank\">Russell Hogg<\/a> and Adjunct Professor <a href=\"http:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/details?id=sozzo\" target=\"_blank\">M\u00e1ximo Sozzo.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Associate Professor <a href=\"http:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/staff\/dragiewi\/\" target=\"_blank\">Molly Dragiewicz <\/a>will present <span id=\"spanDescricaoEspaco\" class=\"descricao\">Q &amp; A: The Gender Politics of Social Media Discussions of Domestic Violence in Australia<\/span><em>, <\/em>based on an article co-authored with Professor <a href=\"http:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/staff\/burgesje\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jean Burgess<\/a>, <span class=\"role\">Director <\/span><span class=\"role\">of QUT&#8217;s <\/span><span class=\"role\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.qut.edu.au\/research\/our-research\/institutes-centres-and-research-groups\/digital-media-research-centre\" target=\"_blank\">Digital Media Research Center<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dr. <a href=\"http:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/staff\/richark2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kelly Richards<\/a> will present <em>A Critical Examination of the Rise and Rise of the Discourse of Offender &#8220;Accountability&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"spanDescricaoEspaco\" class=\"descricao\">Professor <\/span><span id=\"spanDetalheEspaco\" class=\"detalhe\"><a href=\"http:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/staff\/waltersr\/\" target=\"_blank\">Reece Walters <\/a>and Adjunct Professor<a href=\"http:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/details?id=southn\" target=\"_blank\"> Nigel South<\/a> will present <em>Food Crime, Water Crime, and Environmental Justice.<\/em><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Adjunct Professor <span id=\"spanDetalheEspaco\" class=\"detalhe\"><a href=\"http:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/details?id=faraldoc\" target=\"_blank\">Patricia Faraldo Cabana <\/a>will present <em>On Fines: Rusche and Kirchheimer Revisited.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Researchers from the Crime and Justice Research Centre are headed to the European Society of Criminology Conference in Porto, Portugal 2-5 September, 2015.
