Media: Dr Jodi Death

QUT Centre for Justice member, Associate Professor Jodi Death has provided commentary in an article titled, “Hundreds of Qld child abuse victims. More than $100 million in payments” in Brisbane Times, August 2023.  This article discusses that the amount of money the Queensland government pays out to settle abuse claims against the state is set to surpass $100 million this year.

A/Prof Death’s primary research interest is in child sexual abuse in institutional care. This includes identifying and responding to the voices and needs of survivors and developing an understanding of historic paedophile networks.
