QUT Centre for Justice member Professor Michael Flood has released a report with Chay Brown, Lula Dembele and Kirsti Mills titled, “Who uses domestic, family, and sexual violence, how and why? The State of Knowledge Report on Violence Perpetration”, sponsored by PwC.
The report highlights the need for data on violence perpetration to map the characters and drivers of perpetration and to reframe how these are understood by people and government.
The report considers the research on perpetration and patterns of perpetration in concluding –
“It is time to make perpetrators and perpetration the focus of our national efforts to prevent and reduce domestic, family, and sexual violence.”
