Late August 2018, along with two other QUT Business School students, we flew to Canberra to attend the 2018 National Student Leadership Forum (NSFL) surrounding different topics, faith and values.
This jam-packed week was so much more than I had expected. It was hosted by our nation’s leaders, attacking the most important tools and topics when it comes to our lives, our integrity and our decision making – this being our values. The highlight of my week was meeting the energetic Bill Shorten and having a few drinks with Peter Costello. Another highlight was being able to witness, at Parliament House, the changeover of our Prime Minister from Malcolm Turnbull to Scott Morrison. The week was filled with bondings, learning, listening and growing as both a student and a human being. I am eternally grateful for this experience provided by QUT and I would highly recommend it to any student next year.
