As another successful day of exploring drew to a close, the QUT study crew took to the skies to experience Singapore from the top.
Located next to the Marina Bay, the Singapore Flyer offers panoramic views of the city skyline and other iconic ‘must-see’ locations including Gardens by the Bay.
I was excited to experience the Flyer after our presentation from Sarah Diedro at Havas about how it was used in the launch of Air France’s first class cabin (which you can check out here).
As we arrived it was clear QUT was receiving the VIP treatment. When we boarded the cabin we were given a refreshing Singapore Sling to compliment the stunning views – It was Singapore’s signature drink! We had to sample, right?
While we overlooked the incredible Singapore skyline, I reflected on the tour and how much we had achieved over the past two weeks.
Participating in this study tour has opened my eyes to the endless possibilities out there and to seek opportunities to grow and experience the unknown. Undertaking an international study tour or exchange is a valuable addition to your degree as it exposes you to new cultures, people and situations and ultimately equips you for the real world.
We definitely ended our Hong Kong and Singapore study tour on a ‘high’ note (literally)!
