QUT Creative Industries' Dr Kari Gislason introduces the 'Surviving and thriving in an age of change' panel at STORY+

Writers need to be flexible, persistent and reader-driven if they hope to survive in a technology-driven publishing model.

The Brisbane Writers Festival’s (BWF) STORY+ explored authorship in a constantly changing technological landscape. The one-day conference at Queensland University of Technology was sponsored by QUT Vice Chancellor Peter Coaldrake and strongly supported by the Creative Writing and Literary Studies discipline. The event saw authors, publishers, artists and poets discuss the issues in and showcased their contributions to digital writing and publication.
